City golf courses close for season this week; winter golf begins in November

Eagle Falls and Anaconda Hills golf courses close Nov. 1,
That makes Tuesday the final day for play.
Tee times can be made beginning at 9:30 a.m. and play begins at 10 a.m.
For tee times at either course, call Eagle Falls, 761-1078 or Anaconda Hills, 761-8459.
Eagle Falls driving range closes for the season at 12 p.m. on Oct. 29 for end of the season maintenance and Anaconda Hills driving range will close at 12 p.m. on Oct. 30.
Anaconda Hills will be open for winter golf Nov. 15 through Dec. 31; followed by Eagle Falls Jan. 2 through Feb. 15.
Winter golf is contingent on weather conditions.
Winter golf hours will be 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Gates will open at 11 a.m. and be locked at 3:30 p.m. All golfers must be off the course before 3:30 p.m.
There’s no charge during winter golf. The course will be played in reverse order on each hole, with golfers teeing off in front of the greens, which will be marked with blue stakes, and finishing on temporary greens in front of the normal tee boxes. All 18 holes will be open for golf.
Golfers are asked to stay off the regular greens. Carts will not be allowed. The course will not be open on holidays.
