As of Thursday, only one more person has filed for this year’s city election.

Spencer Galloway has filed to run for mayor, challenging incumbent Bob Kelly, who is running for a second term.

Galloway is the son of Lola Galloway, who was elected to the Montana House of Representatives last year.

Two commission seats, currently occupied by Fred Burow and Bob Jones, are also on the ballot this year.

Burow has filed for re-election, but Jones has decided not to run again after serving two 4-year terms.

The other candidates for those two seats are Tyson Habein, Mary Sheehy Moe, Kate Hughes.

Rick Tryon has announced on Facebook that he plans to run again this year, but has not yet filed with the Cascade County Elections Office.

The filing deadline is June 19.
