Three incumbents file for GFPS board; write-in deadline is March 2

Three incumbents have filed for three seats in the 2026 Great Falls Public Schools board election.

This year’s election is set for May 5 and filing closed Feb, 9.

Incumbents Bill Bronson, Amie Thompson and Kim Skornogoski have filed for reelection.

Write-in filing closes March 2 and according to Terry Thompson, Cascade County elections administrator, if no one files as a write-in, the school board election may be canceled and the incumbents will be declared winners by acclamation.
