The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on a proposal to resurface about eight miles of US Highway 89/Montana Highway 200, through Vaughn.
The project begins at the intersection with Vaughn North Frontage Road, extends west and near the division of MT 200 and US 89.
Proposed work includes a crack seal and a seal and cover, which is chip seal, and applying new pavement markings. Crews will also crack seal the bridge decks. The purpose of the project is to extend the service life of the roadway, according to MDT.
