23-year-old charged in Jan. 15 shooting
Victor Yniguez, 23, has been charged with two felony counts of criminal endangerment and misdemeanor counts of carrying a concealed weapon under the influence and obstructing a peace officer for an early morning Jan. 15 shooting.
No one was injured, according to the Great Falls Police Department.
Yniguez has been held in the Cascade County Detention Center since the incident on a $10,000 bond.
13-year-old arraigned on additional charges from Nov. 3 shooting
Another man was present when Yniguez was taken into custody, but was not charged, according to the Cascade County Attorney’s Office.
A Great Falls Police officer was dispatched to the area of 38th Street North and 4th Avenue North for multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting around 1:30 a.m. Jan. 15.
Arriving in the area, the officer was stopped by a citizen who said a lifted Chevy Silverado had left 3800 4th Ave. N., headed southbound on 38th Street North when an occupant shot a gun.
Officers found multiple spent 9mm casings on at the intersection of 38th Street and 4th Avenue North, according to charging documents.

Multiple witnesses told investigators that a lifted silver Chevy truck was seen leaving the area of the gun shots.
A couple said they were standing in their garage with the door open, smoking cigarettes, and heard the shooting, running back inside, according to court documents. Their daughter heard the shooting and came running downstairs worried her parents had been shot.
While on scene, officers observed a silver 2015 Chevy Silverado with Texas plates circling the area and pulled in front of 3800 5th Ave. N., where two occupants, including Yniguez, exited the vehicle, according to court documents.

Officers told bot men to stop as they were attempting to enter the residence, where they both live, according to court documents,
Yniguez didn’t comply with commands and tossed a 9mm pistol over the porch railing into a pile of leaves.
Officers reported that while speaking to Yniguez, they could smell alcohol on his breath and he appeared under the influence, according to court documents.
Yniguez told investigators that the truck and the pistol had been on his person.
His address is listed as Texas and prosecutors requested that prior to release, Yniguez be equipped and comply with an alcohol monitoring device and be responsible for paying the associated costs.
