Malmstrom Air Force Base missileers were recognized in September at the ninth annual missileer gathering at the 2025 Air, Space and Cyber Conference at National Harbor, Md.

The Air Force Association’s Gen. Charles A. Gabriel Chapter hosted the gathering, which was established in 2017 for missileers to gather and recognize the Gen. Thomas Power Missile Crew of the Year, according to AFA.

It includes those who earned an Air Force missile badge, missile operations badge or missile maintenance badge, according to AFA.

This year’s missile crew of the year was Capt. Sarah Lopez and 1st Lt. Travis Evans from the 10th Missile Squadron of the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom.

They were presented with the Air Force General Thomas Power Missile Crew of the Year Award trophies.
