Citizens Council meets Jan. 28

The Great Falls Citizens Council, or Council of Councils, meets at 7 p.m. Jan. 28 in the Gibson Room at the Civic Center.

The council includes a representative from each of the city’s nine neighborhood councils, plus two city commissioners.

The council’s agenda includes council office elections, an update from Great Falls Police Department and Great Falls Fire Rescue, an update from the Municipal Court, a presentation on a quiet zone proposal to BNSF, council reports and neighborhood concerns.

Monthly agendas are posted on the Neighborhood Council meeting calendar at least 48 hours prior the scheduled meeting.

In Great Falls, there are nine neighborhood councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens by providing a direct link to city government within the neighborhoods. Each council is made up of five members elected by the voters in that council area. WebsiteFacebook
