Results: Primary election 2024

Polls closed at 8 p.m. in the June 4 primary.

Poll workers are closing up at Exhibition Hall in Cascade County as of 8:30 p.m.

Preliminary results, as of 9:03 p.m., which we’re updating with more results.

Terry Thompson, county election administrator, said there were 20,117 ballots counted.

She said that election officials counted 8,000 to 10,000 ballots on June 3 and had counted a total of about 14,000 by 2 p.m. June 4.

Thompson estimated there’s about 2,000 more ballots to count, but very few provisional and military ballots left to count.

There are 49,052 registered voters in Cascade County, making a 41.01 percent turnout rate in today’s primary election.

Results aren’t final until they’re certified by the canvass board, which is scheduled to meet June 13, Thompson said.
