Ballots due today for GFPS board election

Ballots are due by 8 p.m. May 7 for the Great Falls Public Schools board election, as well as Centreville Public School and Fort Shaw Irrigation District.

On election day, both the election office and Exhibition Hall will be open for ballot drop off and voter registration from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

As of 1 p.m., the county elections staff had scanned 10,321 ballots, according to Terry Thompson, Cascade County election administrator.

Public test for school election is May 1

Ballots can also be dropped off at the elections office 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The dropbox at the Courthouse Annex will be available May 7, Thompson told The Electric.

Ballots mailed for May 7 school election

There is one GFPS board seat on the ballot.

The candidates are incumbent Marlee Sunchild, and Rodney Meyers and Tony Rosales.
