Band festival concert is March 5 at CMR
The AA Band Festival Concert will be held at 7 p.m. March 5 at the C.M. Russell High School auditorium.
“Come and enjoy a fantastic night of band music with symphonic bands from C.M. Russell and Great Falls high schools, as well as our guests from Helena Capital,” Dusty Molyneaux, Great Falls Public Schools music and art supervisor, said.
The bands will play an individual selection at the beginning of the program and then will combine forces for a mass band under the direction of Dr. Cynthia Johnston Turner of Wilfrid Laurier University, and a percussion ensemble led by Spencer Martin of the University of Idaho.
“It will be a wonderful concert with a wide range of styles and genres for your listening pleasure,” Molyneaux said.
The concert is free and open to the public.
