Three city seats up for election in 2019
It’s an election year in the City of Great Falls and three seats will be up for grabs.
The mayor’s seat and two commission seats will be on this year’s city ballot.
Currently, those seats are held by Mayor Bob Kelly and Commissioners Bill Bronson and Tracy Houck.
Filing for those seats opens on April 18 and runs through June 17.
The filing fee for mayor is $56.16 and for commission seats the fee is $37.44.
If needed, a primary election will be Sept. 10 and the general election is Nov. 5.
In Great Falls, the mayor’s term is two years and the commissioners serve four year terms.
