Great Falls neighborhood council meetings May 18-21

Two neighborhood councils meet in Great Falls this week.

Neighborhood Council 5 meets at 7 p.m. May 18 in the Great Falls Clinic Specialty Center conference room, 3000 15th Ave. S.

Agenda items include a presentation by Mayor Cory Reeves, information from the city planning office on Benefis’ proposed memory care facility conditional use permit for a “retirement home” land use within the existing R-2 zoning district, council business and updates and neighborhood concerns.

Neighborhood Council 8 meets at 6 p.m. May 21 in the Great Falls Pre-Release Center Women’s Center.

Agenda Items include discussion of North Kiwanis tennis courts reconstruction by Anne Buldger, county commission candidate.

In Great Falls, there are nine neighborhood councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens by providing a direct link to city government within the neighborhoods. Each council is made up of five members elected by the voters in that council area. WebsiteFacebook
