Coffee and donut shop planned downtown
Little Light Coffee Co & Mini Donuts is planning to open in January at 512 Central Ave.
They’ll offer coffee and mini donuts with coffee flights and rotating monthly drinks, including matcha and cold brew.

U.S. Bank updates, sale
The U.S. Bank building at 300 Central Ave. is for sale for $2.75 million.
U.S. Bank owns the Central Avenue building and the drive-up location at 215 1st. Ave. S.
Jake Holtrop, regional communications manager for the west, told The Electric that the drive-up location at 215 1st Ave. S. is currently undergoing renovations and is closed during construction. It is scheduled to reopen Feb. 11.
The Central Avenue branch is scheduled to close on Feb. 11 and the staff at that branch will be relocated to the 1st Ave. S. location, which will then operated as a traditional branch with a lobby for customers, Holtrop said.
Stadium Sports Bar for sale
The Stadium Sports Bar and Casino is listed for sale for $1.9 million.
The sale includes “a fully operating sports bar, casino, and entertainment business in Great Falls, complete with its liquor license and all furniture, fixtures, and equipment,” according to the listing.
Clearwater space for sale
The current Clearwater Credit Union office at 503 1st Ave. N, Suite 111 is listed for sale for $399,000. The credit union is currently constructing a new branch at the corner of Park Drive and 1st Avenue North, across from Gibson Park, at the site of the former downtown Hardee’s.
Road closure
Central Avenue will be closed between 12th and 13th streets from Dec. 3-12 for installation of a private water services line and fire line.
Geranios Enterprises has contracted with the Indian Family Health Clinic for the work and during construction Central Ave will be closed to through traffic, but local business access will be available.
Memorial Tree Lighting
NeighborWorks Great Falls is hosting the Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting at Broadwater Overlook Park at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 7 outside of the visitor’s center.
It’s the 50th year of the beloved holiday tradition and NWGF’s second hosting the ceremony, when the names of those who have passed away are read before the tree lights are turned on.

Trim the tree with Santa at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park
First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park is hosting “Trim the Tree” from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Dec. 12/
The free event is open to all ages and hot chocolate and cookies will be available during the festivities.
Visitors can celebrate the start of the holiday season and join in the fun by helping park rangers decorate the visitor center tree and by making their own wood or paper tree ornaments.
Santa Claus will visit at 5 p.m. to hand out candy canes.
From Nov. 28 until Christmas Eve the park gift shop is having its annual sale and items are 15 percent off retail prices.
During the Trim the Tree event on Dec. 12 all items in the gift shop will be 20 percent off.
The gift shop is open during regular winter hours Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

History Museum holiday events
The History Museum is decking the halls and inviting the community to enjoy a festive holiday season.
On Dec. 13, Second Saturday, hear Sound of the Falls, an a cappella women’s choir, performing Christmas carols at 12:30 p.m.
At 1 p.m., historian Ken Robison will present “Celebrating Christmas in early Great Falls,” a free admission talk exploring the city’s first Christmas celebration in 1885 and other yuletide events in early Montana Territory.
Both events are free admission.
On Dec. 20, the museum’s gift shop and bookstore will host its annual Holiday Open House from 12-5 p.m., featuring an extra 15 percent off sale items.
There will be a special Santa photo booth from 1-4 p.m.
The museum is offering free admission both days from 12-5 p.m.

Ursuline Centre’s new development director
The Ursuline Centre Historical Foundation has hired Jeannie Reeves Hansen as its new development director.
Hansen is a University of Providence graduate and a third-generation Montana, according to the foundation.
“I inherited my commitment to Montana,” Hansen said in a release. “My family has lived, worked, and built their lives here for more than a century, and I carry that legacy with a profound sense of responsibility. I believe in preserving the heritage that defines us, honoring our cultural diversity, and welcoming new community members who continue to enrich our state. The rich history of the Ursuline Centre is a place where these stories come together, and I am honored to help ensure its preservation for generations to come.”
In her role as development director, Hansen will lead donor engagement, philanthropic partnerships and strategic initiatives that advance the center’s mission and expand its impact across Montana.
