Great Falls Park and Recreation is encouraging residents to gift trees for Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2.
The Roots Revival committee is collecting donations to plant the last seven trees in Gibson Park that had to be removed last year due to age, disease and storm damage.
The committee has worked with the city forester and parks manager to select a variety of trees that offer optimal canopy coverage, beautiful fall colors, drought tolerance and are able to withstand the Great Falls weather, according to Park and Rec.
