Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter said that a deputy has been shot on Feb. 23.
Slaughter told The Electric that the deputy was on duty when he was shot and is in stable condition and receiving medical attention.
No further information is available yet.
Slaughter told The Electric he’d release more information on Saturday.
