History Museum hosting holiday open house, concerts on Nov. 9

Enjoy live music, a holiday open house and a presentation by local author John Stephenson-Love on Nov. 9 and The History Museum.

Melissa Smith who will be playing the museum’s restored 1925 Chickering grand piano in the Ozark Club.

Smith is an accomplished pianist who will be performing popular holiday music beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the museum’s third and final series of Second Saturday Concerts at the museum.

Afterward, the museum’s gift and book shop is offering another 10 percent off sale items and providing complimentary refreshments during the Holiday Open House.

At 3 p.m., author John Stephenson-Love will talk about his newest book, “Growing Up with Russell.”A limited number of signed copies will be available during the event.

The museum will be open 12-5 p.m. on Nov. 9 for the event.

Admission is free, donations are always welcome at The History Museum.
