Beginning Aug. 26, 5th Street North will be closed from 7th Avenue North to 6th Avenue North for the repair of a sanitary sewer main at the intersection of 5th Street North and 7th Alley North.
The city has contracted with Horn Construction and the project is expected to last through Sept. 13.
Barricades and detour signs are in the area of construction to re-route traffic.
Access for local traffic will be maintained during construction.
