Two neighborhood councils meet May 6-7

Two Great Falls neighborhood councils meet next week.

Neighborhood Council 6 meets at 6:30 p.m. May 6 in the Sunnyside Elementary School staff break room.

Agenda items include a sheriff candidate introduction, crime mapping report, council updates and neighborhood concerns.

Neighborhood Council 3 meets at 6:30 p.m. May 7 in the Riverview Elementary School music room.

The meeting will also be streamed live on the council’s Facebook page.

Agenda items include county sheriff and commission candidate introductions, a presentation on the Montana Tobacco Use Prevention program from the City-County Health Department, fundraising for Skyline and Valley View parks, Facebook updates, committee reports and neighborhood concerns.

Monthly agendas are posted on the Neighborhood Council meeting calendar at least 48 hours before the scheduled meeting.

In Great Falls, there are nine neighborhood councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens by providing a direct link to city government within the neighborhoods. Each council is made up of five members elected by the voters in that council area. WebsiteFacebook
