Neighborhood council meetings Sept. 15-18

Two Great Falls neighborhood councils meet Sept. 15-18.

Neighborhood Council 5 meets at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 in the Great Falls Clinic Specialty Center conference room at 3000 15th Ave. S.

Agenda items include a presentation on avoiding scams and fraud, Neighborhood Council 5 survey results, council business and updates and neighborhood concerns.

Neighborhood Council 8 meets at 6 p.m. Sept. 18 in the Great Falls Pre-Release Center Women’s Center.

Agenda Items include a presentation by the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter, Facebook updates and neighborhood concerns.

In Great Falls, there are nine neighborhood councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens by providing a direct link to city government within the neighborhoods. Each council is made up of five members elected by the voters in that council area. WebsiteFacebook
