NeighborWorks Great Falls has multiple events coming up.
First up is the CommUNITY Cleanup April 25-26 with NWGF, Malmstrom Air Force Base, and local teams cleaning up Great Falls and Black Eagle.
NWGF provides supplies and coordinates volunteers and cleanup sites, while local teams pick up trash, rake leaves, and further beautify locations over town.
Malmstrom covers routes throughout town, picking up the trash bags from other cleanup locations and making trips to the landfill.
Republic Services waives the dump fees for Malmstrom’s trucks, making this a large community effort.
This year, Leadership Great Falls is joining the CommUNITY Cleanup and is holding a cleanup on April 26 as part of their class project.
NWGF is also hosting its fourth annual Homebuyer Fair on April 26 from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the University of Providence’s University Center.
The goal of the fair is to provide local hopeful homebuyers a chance to learn more about the home purchase process in a fun and informative setting.
Free and open to the public, local realtors, lenders, home inspectors, and other local experts will be available to share their knowledge and answer any questions.
Right next door to the fair, there will be a Homebuyer Education class starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m.
Class participants also have the chance to experience the fair and obtain their Homebuyer Education Certificate.
The class is $50 and registration beforehand is strongly encouraged.
NWGF is teaming with the Hi-Line Climbing Center to offer a Community Climbing Day to celebrate the Hi-Line’s eight anniversary and raise funds for NWGF.
The Hi-Line is offering $1 climbing and NWGF is holding a BBQ by donation and multiple raffles.
The festivities will take place at the Hi-Line, 608 1st Ave. S. on May 3 from 12-2 p.m.
