Updated Nov. 8

Preliminary results are in, with 37,653 ballots counted.

All 26 precincts have fully reported in Cascade County.

There were 43,025 active voters as of election night.

Election officials were still counting a few thousand ballots around 4:30 a.m. Nov. 6, including about 800 write-in votes that were being counted.

They’ll meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 12 in Exhibition Hall to finish the tally of the official write-in candidates that weren’t completed election night. That will be done in the morning along with transcribing the UOCAVA ballots to prepare them for counting. At 3 p.m. provisional and UOCAVA ballots will be counted in the tabulator. Tallying of write-in votes for official write-in candidates will commence again for any votes cast when the provisional ballots are counted, according to Terry Thompson, county election administrator.

Votes aren’t final until the county canvass board certifies the result. The canvass is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 18.

The post-election audit is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 14.

This post will be updated as results are available.
