City requesting proposals for Mansfield concessions and alcohol sales

The city is requesting proposals for concessions and alcohol concessions at the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts.

According to the city documents, there are 40-55 events in a typical season where alcohol concessions may be required. The events can be held any day of the week, typically 7:30 p.m. for the evening events or afternoons for matinees, according to the request.

City considering increase to Mansfield room rental fees, online ticket fee

Alcohol concessions are usually sold pre-show and during a 15-minute intermission, but some groups do advance sales for intermission distribution.

Concessionaires are responsible for procuring, supplying and posting all permits and licenses necessary to offer and sell alcohol or concessions and pay any related taxes.

A fee of 20 percent of gross sales will be assessed and paid to the Mansfield, according to the request.
