Canned Food Day is Nov. 30 at Great Falls Municipal Court.
For those making monthly payments on court fines, if you bring 10 cans and/or boxes of food, it will count for one $50 monthly payment that will be applied to December or any payment thereafter. Any non-perishable food will be accepted.
More cans may be donated, but the maximum credit is $50.
Donations will be accepted from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In order to participate, you must:
- Be current on your fines;
- You must have fines in Great Falls Municipal Court; and
- Not have an active warrant.
You may not participate if your balance is only restitution. The credit is not valid for deferred prosecutions.
