Commission to finalize Great Falls city manager’s salary increase

The City Commission will formally amend City Manager Greg Doyon’s contract during tonight’s meeting.

The commission met on May 1 to review Doyon’s performance and during that meeting voted to increase his base salary by 3 percent.

Doyon’s current contract runs March 24, 2017 through March 24, 2020.

His current base salary is $140,775.12 and the three percent increase makes a base salary of $144,998.37, according to city data.

Doyon is also eligible for a cost of living increase when it’s offered to other nonunion city employees.

In December, Doyon interviewed for and was offered the city administrator position in Billings, but ultimately declined the position.
