City has multiple openings on advisory boards

The City Commission is seeking applications for multiple city advisory boards.
Applications are available at the city manager’s office, Civic Center, Room 201, by calling 455-8450; or may be obtained from the Advisory Boards section.
The newly created Great Falls Ethics Committee needs three members. The first appointee will serve an initial term of three years, the second appointee shall serve an initial term of two years and third appointee shall serve an initial term of one year. Applicants must reside within the city limits, must be qualified electors and may not be city employees.
Applicants should have expertise/qualifications in the following areas: public administration, governmental operation, political practices or legal practice if possible.
The committee shall meet on an as needed basis. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Dec. 15.
The city is also looking for applicants for the Golf Advisory Board to serve the remainder of a three-year terms through March 31, 2019.
There is currently one opening for a member to represent non-league golfers.
The Golf Advisory Board meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Dec. 15.
The City Commission is seeking applications for citizens to serve on the Advisory Commission on International Relationships. Currently there is one opening on the commission. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
The Park and Recreation Board currently has three openings for three-year terms beginning Jan. 1 and expiring Dec. 31, 2020. Two board members have terms that expire on December 31, 2017 and are eligible for reappointment, but the city is accepting applications for all three positions.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 3 p.m. Applicants must live within the city limits and the application deadline has been extended to 5 p.m. Nov. 30.
There are currently two openings for three-year terms beginning Jan. 1 on the Regional Airport Authority Board. Applicants may be interviewed by the board and/or City Commission.
The Airport Authority Board generally meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. Applications are due 5 p.m. Nov. 30.
The City Commission is seeking citizens interested in serving on the Community Development Council. There is currently one opening for the remainder of a three-year term that would expire Oct. 31, 2018.
Interested applicants must live within the city limits. The Council meets on demand, generally from January through March and applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
There is currently one opening on the Design Review Board to fill the remainder of a three-year term expiring March 31, 2019.
Members are appointed with an effort to achieve a diversity of expertise, background and interest. Board meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 3 p.m. if needed. Applicants must reside within the City of Great Falls and applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
The City Commission is accepting applications to serve on the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts Advisory Board. There are currently two openings. One appointment would be for a three-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2020. The other would be for a partial term through Dec. 31, 2019 due to a resignation of a current board member.
Meetings are the third Friday of each month at noon and applications are being accepted until the position is filled.
The city is looking to fill one vacancy on the Great Falls Planning Advisory Board for a three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2020. There is currently one vacancy for a three-year term through Dec. 31, 2020.
Applicants must reside within the city limits and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The board meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 3 p.m.
