T-Mobile moving into former zpizza space

You may have noticed the demolition and renovation work going on in the former zpizza space next to Jimmy John’s on the corner of 9th Street and 10th Avenue South.

Or, maybe you didn’t, but rest easy, it won’t be another pizza place as is so often lamented by Great Fallsians.

Burger Bunker, Big Bang Pizza moving to downtown Great Falls

It’s not a casino, or a bank or a mattress store either.

Bummed out?

Well, you can phone a friend and chat about it since it’s going to house a new T-Mobile shop.

According to multiple news reports, T-Mobile has been investing heavily to ramp up its 4G network and pushing to become a major operator in rural America. It’s projected coverage map for the end of 2017 shows extensive coverage in Montana.

Oh, and Batteries + Bulbs is planning on relocating to a different spot on 10th Avenue South into what used to be, wait for it, a casino.

The owners went to both the city Planning and Design Review boards earlier this summer with their plans to remodel an existing building at 2312 10th Ave. S. for their move from the Holiday Village Shopping Center, in the building with Cafe Rio. Their current location is owned by GK Development, the same company that owns and operates the mall.

The Electric noticed a flurry of activity downtown at the building that will soon house The Burger Bunker and Big Bang Pizza so that’s something to get excited about. Assuming you like pizza.
